Daniel Remund

Colonel, USA (Retired) - Founder

Dan served for 28 years as a pharmacy officer in the United States Army and completed his military career as the Director of the DoD Pharmacoeconomic Center (PEC) and Co-Chair of the DoD Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. After retiring from active duty in 2005, he was employed by Lockheed Martin and served as a Senior Consultant to the PEC. He joined the WSI Pharmaceutical Business Group in 2007 where he served as the Director of DoD Business Operations. In 2011 Dan founded Remund Group, LLC, where he and his colleagues have provided consulting services for more than 100 client companies. Dan holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Health Administration.

Ted Briski Jr.

Captain, USN (Retired) - Consultant

Ted retired as a Navy Captain after more than 27 years of Naval Service.  His numerous responsibilities included Commanding Officer, 1st Medical Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA, Executive Officer, Naval Hospital, Lemoore, CA, Director of Healthcare Business, Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA, Commander, 1st Medical Company, Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Chief of Pharmacy, Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA and Director of Contracting and Procurement, DoD Pharmacoeconomic Center, San Antonio, TX.  Additionally, he holds BS Pharmacy, Pharm. D. and MBA degrees, and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.  After leaving active duty in September 2016, Ted joined Remund Group, LLC as a Federal Healthcare Consultant.

Dave Rice

FSS Contracting

Dave worked for 25 years with the Upjohn Company where he held key positions in FSS Contracting, Business Development, FSS Compliance, Pricing and Contracting, Finance and Auditing. After retiring from the Upjohn Company in 2004 he was one of the founders of WSI Pharmaceutical Business Group where he was the Director of FSS Contracting and Compliance. In 2008 Dave joined Compliance Implementation Services (CIS) where he developed its FSS consulting practice. In 2014 Dave formed Dave Rice Group, LLC and developed a strategic partnership with Remund Group, LLC. We have assisted numerous companies with FSS Contract Solicitations, National Contracts, Contract Administration, and FSS Contract Compliance. Dave is a past Chairman of the AMSUS-Sustaining Members (Association of Military Surgeons of the United States), an industry organization that brings together private healthcare industry representatives with key Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and U.S. Public Health Service decision-makers. Dave holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and received a Certified Internal Auditor designation through the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Scott Pryhocki, President

Scott has 27 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and is a seasoned market access leader specializing in the federal healthcare space.

Scott began his career as a sales rep for Abbott Laboratories in 1996 (later became Abbvie) and has held a position in virtually every commercial area within a pharmaceutical company. Scott began as a territory representative on Long Island, NY and went on to Hospital/IDN sales, Specialty Sales, all areas of sales leadership from district manager to sales director. He also served in product and market access marketing in both contributor and leadership/director level positions. Scott also was responsible for all federal government account contracting for Abbvie’s extensive portfolio. Scott even spent a few years as a clinical liaison in the HIV therapeutic area.

Scott has extensive industry experience and helps translate the expertise of his VA/DoD pharmacist colleagues into strategies and action plans that take into account the inner workings of the pharmaceutical industry business process.

Scott served in the United States Marine Corps from 1987-1991 and was honorably discharged as a Corporal.

Kirk Stocker, RPh, MBA, MHSA

Kirk Stocker is a pharmacoeconomist and data analyst with thirty-two years of pharmacy experience, including twenty years on active duty in the US Air Force and an additional twelve years with the DoD Pharmacy Operations Division, supporting the DoD P&T Committee with cost analysis and extensive pharmacoeconomic modeling.  Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, a Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Health Services Administration.

 

Jennifer Martin, PharmD

VA Formulary Management

Jennifer Martin received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2004 and subsequently completed a Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2005. She became a Board-Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist in 2006. Since that time, Jennifer has functioned in a variety of clinical and administrative roles during her employment within VHA pharmacy at the facility level ranging from Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Mental Health, PGY-2 Residency Director, and Associate Chief of Pharmacy. In 2013, Dr. Martin moved to VHACO and served in several leadership positions within Pharmacy Benefits Management Services (PBM), including Assistant Chief Consultant, Associate Chief Consultant, and Deputy Chief Consultant for Formulary Management for over a decade.  Through these experiences, Dr. Martin gained expertise in formulary management, pharmaceutical data management, and pharmaceutical contracting. During the last months of her employment with VA, Dr. Martin served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Under Secretary for Health for Patient Care Services. In this role, Dr. Martin assisted with oversight activities for a portfolio of program offices within Patient Care Services. She was also involved in policy development and lead/participated in a variety of different committees/groups focused on improving Veteran care across VA as a representative of Patient Care Services. Most recently, Dr. Martin has joined the Remund Group, LLC where she will be able to use her vast knowledge of federal government operation to advise clients on how most successfully engage with the government.

Dr. Joyce Grissom, MD (USAF retired)

Joyce is a former Air Force neurologist and TRICARE program clinical subject matter expert providing physician oversight of TRICARE contracts from the regional and Department of Defense levels.  Joyce retired from active duty after 22 years of service and joined Health Net Federal Services, a TRICARE Managed Care Support Contractor as a Medical Director in 2008.  In 2013 she was promoted to Chief Medical Officer and in that position was responsible for all clinical operations for both the TRICARE and Veterans Administration Patient Centered Community Care and Veterans Choice program in multiple large multi-state regions.   Joyce represented Health Net Federal Services as a member of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS) Executive Advisory Board and is herself a lifetime AMSUS member. As an AMSUS EAB member Joyce presented to the AMSUS Sustaining Member group on the policies pertaining to new drugs and medical devices. In March 2025 Joyce formed J Grissom Consulting, LLC offering consulting services to organizations interested in the federal health care space independently and through the Remund Group.  She is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and the Uniformed Services University and resides and works in Maryland.
